If God, Self and Peace Could be Google-Searched!!!

Living life in a fast paced lane as in our age has its own essence.

Often I come across people who say ‘marne ki bhi fursat nahi hai’, ‘saas lene ki bhi fursat nahi hai’.

Well that leaves me wondering, does death or breath come knocking on your door “May I please come in?”

Even if God, Self and Peace could be Google-searched, people wouldn’t opt for it, as still they wouldn’t have time to do some good to themselves !

On second thoughts, even when we take help of search engines, it gives lists of options…finding the right option requires trial and error, some experience thence and of course time.

‘BLESSED’ is having a SATGURU in life. In the Presence of Your SATGURU:

Knowledge flourishes

Sorrow diminishes

Without any reason, joy wells up

Lack diminishes

Abundance dawns

All talents manifest

And believe me, once Satguru comes into your life, it doesn’t remain the same.

Your Observation, Perception and expression are bound to change.

But don’t go on my words….Experience it…

Sri Sri says “One’s whole life is a lesson on just these three things- perception, observation and expression .Every mistake, you make, is not really a mistake- it’s a learning process of the three vital aspects of life. What do you say? Isn’t it so?”

Wake Up Sid

Just saw Wake Up Sid ! Not extraordinary ,not cliche yet a simple short story without much complications :-)

Well when i saw the opening theme, i could remember some 'siddy' students myself ;-)
needless to say, they changed too with time and are doing well in a worldly way.

Ranbir suited fine to the tailor-made role , Konkana as usual was excellent.

I would be off to sleep after reading some knowledge sheet..

By the way, Have A Safe and Happy Diwali :-)

Have a great extended Weekend

Celebrate & luv

Ashwatha: The Tree of Life

Ashwatha, the Peepal tree is sacred to Hindus as well as Buddhists. Ashwatha literally means "Where horses stood" (ashwa + tha). In ancient times, horses were the main form of transportation and every village or town on the highway perhaps boasted of a Ashwatha tree with its all pervading grandeur, providing shelter to the creatures. Sage Shankaracharya interprets this tree as representing the the entire cosmos. 'Shwa' in Sanskrit means tomorrow. 'a' indicates negation, and 'tha' means one that stands or remains. He interprets Ashwatha to indicate "One which does not remain the same tomorrow", or the universe itself. This Ashwatha tree is quite remarkable because it grows both upwards as well as top to bottom. The branches themselves morph into roots, so even if the original tree decays and perishes, its branches underneath are young and continue to enclose the parent. This eternal life of the the Peepal tree has inspired many Indian philosophers and Hindu thought. It is not uncommon to run into Ashwatha tree that is few hundreds or even a thousand years old! It is said that Buddha got his enlightenment under a Peepal tree. Traditional Buddhist records indicate that a branch of this tree was planted in Sri Lanka in the year 288 B.C., and the tree is alive today! Besides harboring thousands of birds, insects, and providing shade to animals and humans, its foliage is very rich in protein and the bark of the tree is used in several native medicinal drugs. There was a time in India when a Peepal tree was planted in the premises of every temple, and was regarded as the Tree of Life.

Hahaha..

If Columbus had been married, he might never have discovered America because his wife would have asked the following questions and before answering those, he would have gone crazy and left his exploration.
..........

* Where are you going?
* With whom?
* Why?
* How are you going?
* To discover what?
* Why you?
* What do I do, when you are not here?
* Can I come with you?
* Coming back when?
* Will you be back for dinner?
* what will you get me when you are back?
* It seems you deliberately made this ....
* Don't lie....
* Why r u making such programs ?
* You seems to be making a lot of such programs
* Why?
* I want to go to my parents place
* I want you to come and leave me
* I don't want to come back.....
* I will never come back....
* Why are u not stopping me....
* I don't understand what is this discovery exercise?
* You always do like this.....
* Last time also u did like this....
* Nowadays u always seem to do like this....
* I still don't understand what else is left to be discovered...

Had read this story long ago...was searching it.At last my friend emailed it to me.Here it is :

Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings,virtues and vices lived; happiness, sadness, knowledge, and all the others, including love.

One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave.

Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment. When the island was almost totally under, love decided it was time to leave.

She began looking for someone to ask for help. Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat.

Love asked,"Richness, Can I come with you on your boat?"

Richness answered, "I'm sorry, but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere."

Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel. Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please." "I can't help you",

Vanity said, "You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat."

Next, Love saw Sadness passing. Love said, "Sadness, please let me go with you."

Sadness answered, "Love,I'm sorry but I just need to be alone now."

Then, Love saw Happiness.love cried out,"Happiness, please take me with you." But Happiness was so over overjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling to him.

Love began to cry.

Then she heard a voice say, "Come Love, I will take you with me." It was an elder.

Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name.

When they arrived on land the elder went on his way.

Love realized how much she owed the elder.then found Knowledge and asked. "It was Time",Knowledge answered.

"But why did Time help me when no one else would?", Love asked.

Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered,

" Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."
